This International Women’s Day DD National is launching a new serial “Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon – I, A woman, can achieve anything –“. The serial, which has been directed and produced by Feroz Abbas Khan, will be telecasted on every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm on DD National and will be dealing with all the social causes related to a woman.
The serial is a story of female protagonist Sneha Mathur, a doctor working in Mumbai, played by Minal Vaisnav and revolves around her, how she deals with the society and its crippling, stagnating ideas that are detrimental to any woman’s growth. As the serial progresses one will see the range of problems that the society is fighting with currently. MKBKSH addresses practices like sex selection, early marriage, early and repeated pregnancies, and under-nutrition of girls among numerous other problems.
The serial hopes to sensitise the audience about the plight of women and try to create awareness amongst the society that has a mindset that a woman is an under-achiever and best suited to home and hearth. Through this serial the makers and all the people associated with it hopes to create an ambience where women are free to make their choices – be it related to their work, marriage, career, education or even family.
