Hi Friends this blog is inspired by the two other blogs on pets that I read on Iland. One was How Could You?? and the other one (sorry folks) I dont remember the title. However those posts were s touching both of them that I started my pomerian dog.
My dad is an ardent pet lover or rather I should say dog lover. And since my birth I have been surrounded by dogs. When I was born I remember there was a mixed breed bitch with us, who protected me from anyone who was not a family. (I still miss her). Its really true that dogs are man’s best friends. No matter how shabbily we treat them they still come back to us wagging their tails and cute ex-pressions on their faces.

I am talking about dogs because thats what I have as pets. I dont know much about cats (well one day maybe I will have a cat as a pet and then I will write about it too but for now its just dogs, bitches and pups ;-))

Dogs are very friendly creature, of course there are some exceptions like some of the ferocious hunter breeds, otherwise they all are friendly. My pomerian whom we lovingly refer as Patsi one is a bundle of joy for my parents who are now living alone in Ahmedabad (what with a married daughter and a son who works in Bangalore). Their life simply around her. The best part about her is whenever we call our parents we also give a shout to her. And the poor dog not realising from where the voice is coming starts licking the phone. (People who dont love dogs may find it revolting, but believe me it is very touching to know that your dog is showing his/her love in the way they can show it best :)).

As for my german shepherd, the one that I have at my marital home is really sweet. She is just seven years old and such a huge bitch but really loving and adorable. When I first came to my marital home everybody (hubz’ cousin and other relatives were really scared about me getting along with Cindy [my german shepherd] ). Contrary to their fears me and cindy got along like house on fire. And today, she does not let me rest till I have patted her, played with her for a little while and satisfied her that now I am back.

She (cindy) knows that if she wants food she has to come to me in the kitchen and jsut sit there and I will understand that she is hungry.

Me and my pets. I feel sorry for my german shepherd though when my inlaws say that she was a very wrong decision on their part. It amy have been a wrong decision in the sense that she needs wide open spaces to play and we can only prvide her with flats and a lawn in the mornings and evenings to stretch her legs.

God bless my two beautiful bundles of Joy. They deserve our Tender Loving Care. Nothing More Nothing Less.

I am not an animal activist, JUST AN ARDENT DOG LOVER!!!!. May God bless those street dogs too. To my colleague’s dillema I have even fed those street dogs. I buy a packet of biscuit and give it to them. My hubz sometimes gets really scared of me getting a rabbies or something like that. (hahahahaha) But that ex-pression of tremendous love and faith makes me weak at knees and I end up feeding and fondling those dogs. God bless my two beautiful bundles of Joy.
